the excuses get sadder and sadder
wednesday face-sucking meme!

Here's how it works!

Here's how it works!
- POST WITH YOUR CHARACTERS. One per comment usually works pretty well.
- Everybody's welcome! Oldbies, newbies, people not in the game yet but thinking about it...
- Other people, anon or logged in, comment with names of other characters! Or you can namedrop your own characters anonly. No one will know ;)
- When you find the named character, comment to them with yours!
- The command is simple: your character has to kiss them ASAP. Face-sucking is the goal, but other kinds of kisses are cool as well if it's too gross or if you have an even better idea! And no one has to do anything.
- GO FORTH AND HAVE FUN, DARLINGS.

"Oh yeah. Right, about that kissing thing..."

Because I suspect we'll find new and exciting ways to express embarrassment otherwise.

"Besides, I figure the only person you want to kiss is your husband, right?"

Granted, she did with Ronnae, but Ronnae was her friend and her age, so that was at least nowhere near as awkward as it could be. It was downright sweet.
She laughed at what Eva said last. "Well, there's always limits, right?"

Besides, it's nice to feel wanted. Admired, even. "I do too. And you can get away with it just about everywhere. Whereas if you start jamming your tongue down someone else's throat in public, you tend to get escorted off the premises pretty quickly."
Not that she doesn't like the sweet, gentle, close-mouthed kisses too, but thinking of those just makes her feel lonesome now.

She laughed. "Well, I can't say I ever really jammed my tongue down anyone's throat. I've only been with two men, and they've been gentle and sweet, and both know how to hold a hand."
And she got the lonesome part, all right. She wondered if she might not ever get to feel that again.

Then she cocks her head. "Although, don't discount the tongue-jamming. I broke it off with many a man who didn't understand that you have to be able to do both." Katara's a teenager. Better she's getting frank advice than some sugared up chastity garbage.

She blushed. "I did that, only once, but you're right. He was the only one I'll ever do that with, because anyone else would have just been weird. But he was a balance, and in the end, I think that's what he's always been, you know?"
no subject
"Did what, break it off? Because I'm pretty sure you just said no tongue-jamming."
no subject
She laughed. "No, nothing like that. He was on the ship, but they took him away. Since then, I didn't want to be that way with anyone: I only had the courage to even date a month or so ago. Even then I didn't realize how much I was waiting for that guy to come back: a part of me was always holding out hope, to feel that way again."

Wait, what? "Your husband had another wife?"
no subject
She shrugs. Her casual tone pretty effectively masks the fact that this isn't the happiest subject in her family; it's a wound they've stopped picking at, instead bandaging it with humor. "Well, I was legally dead, for nearly five years. Was he supposed to spend the rest of his life in black looking for pyres to throw himself on?"
no subject
She sighed. "No, I guess not. But all the same, I hope he'd come back to you once he realized you weren't dead, you know? I mean, he is your husband."

Nora's husband too, for better or for worse. But Nora might be dead for all they know, or might have been a Controller all the time (if they're choosing to go with the unlikely-to-be-true but guilt-free idea that Marco's telling the truth about that), and Eva was so completely broken at the end of the war that Peter would have found it unconscionable to leave her. "He did. Apparently the first twelve years weren't enough to scare him off. Silly, silly man."
no subject
She smiled. "That's terribly romantic! I really hope he'll podpop soon. I'm sure Marco misses his dad too."
no subject
"I do too. If only so Marco can have someone to help him mock me when I can't figure out the whatsicomm for the hundredth time."
no subject
She giggled. "I'm sure it won't be that bad! Besides, I can help you with the omnicomm...if I can figure it out, you can!"
no subject
"Well, you know what they say about old dogs. I managed to make one of those profile things, but I still haven't figured out the ring things."
no subject
"I don't believe that, thank you," Katara said, looking stern. "I think whatever you want to do, you can. Believe me, our technology isn't even close to what you guys can do. I can help you, if you want!"
