The Mystery Tea Meme!

How about a nice cup of tea~?

Rules:
• Post with your character(s)!
• Reply to other characters. Have your character share tea with the character they're tagging. Choose (or randomize 1 through 23) from green, jasmine, Earl Grey, Lady Grey, strawberry, mint, lemon, cherry, Chai, Oolong, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, berry, rose, English breakfast, chamomile, daffodil, thyme, Darjeeling, black, decaf, or white tea.
• They drink it.
• Both characters discover the horrifying effect of the tea below the cut.

1. Green tea: Makes the drinker wiser. Bear in mind that wise doesn't necessarily mean smart.

2. Jasmine tea: Turns boys girly, turns girl girlier.

3. Earl Grey tea: Drinkers of this tea can't tell anything but the truth.

4. Lady Grey tea: Drinkers of this tea can't tell anything but the lies.

5. Strawberry tea: Causes uncontrollable hiccups.

6. Mint tea: Completely flip your personality. Good is bad, bad is good, etc.

7. Lemon tea: As opposed to flipping personalities, suddenly gain someone else's personality!

8. Cherry tea: Ever saw a blushing virgin right before being deflowered? The people that drink this tea will show you how it's done.

9. Chai tea: The uncontrollable need dance, wherever you go!

10. Oolong tea: The uncontrollable need to express everything in the form of a song! It might be a song you already know, or you might find you've got a hidden talent for lyrics!

11. Chocolate tea: WARNING! Keep away from underaged children. Aftereffects may include: horniness, uncontrollable lust, more horniness, the need to take off clothes, a hoarse sexy voice, sweaty skin. (for the underage, causes uncomfortable heat, and cheesy pickup lines)

12. Vanilla tea: Causes childish innocence, kindness, love of everything alive.

13. Caramel tea: Have a little respect for your four-legged friends. Turns the drinker into an animal of the mun's choosing.

14. Berry tea: Ever wondered what it was like to be the opposite gender? You didn't? Too bad! Turns boys to girls and vice versa, complete with all the appropriate parts.

15. Rose tea: For the love of all that is good and shoujo, will the drinkers of this tea stop sparkling so melodramatically?

16. English breakfast tea: Not only will the drinker be more arrogant, snobbish and better than you, but they will also voice it. Loudly. Narcissism is encouraged. So is slapping them back to their senses.

17. Chamomile tea: This tea will calm you down to the point of apathy and sloth. Don't bother leaving bed, it's not even worth it.

18. Daffodil tea: SUCH A CALM TEA AT FIRST SIGHT BUT WHAT ABOUT WHEN IT MAKES YOU TALK IN CAPSLOCK?

19. Thyme tea: Suddenly your clothes don't seem to fit so well... adult drinkers of this tea will be deaged to childhood. Child drinkers will be aged to adulthood.

20. Darjeeling tea: Causes the drinker to suffer severe delusions. They might just start to think they're the Queen of England, or a tree, or any number of things. I suggest you take videos for posterity and blackmail.

21. Black tea: Causes blindness.

22. Decaf tea: .. Sleep, who needs sleep?

23. White tea: Grants X-ray vision.

"You don't say," Hit Girl said, sort of wondering what he meant by that. She took a sip of the tea and blinked a moment. "What exactly do you mean?"

And why did she feel like moshing right now?

"Let's see, you can seriously kick some ass, you like your weapons, you have a fucking dirty mouth, and you're out to fight the good fight your own way. What's not to like?"

His fingers begin drumming a steady beat on the table as he talks. Yeah, moshing could be good.

She shrugged. Yeah, she usually said that she was pretty awesome for doing that stuff, but it was usually in jest. Really, she was just a product of her own environment: a father obsessed with getting revenge, competence with weapon proficiency and generally, being raised in New York.

"Never really had anybody say anything positive about that unless its by my teacher or partner, so thanks. Helps to get the opinion of someone that isn't a demon overlord or a crazed viking."

Yes, moshing would be good. She somehow felt cheated by the rave that fizzled out a month ago, and so she closed her eyes, trying to hear the beat in her head, and moving accordingly.

Not that she could have told you why she was doing this to begin with.

He's right there with her. He can dance, he can also mosh. "Damn... I really need to get one of the engineers to build me a new stereo, this place could use some Joan Jett or AC/DC." he muses aloud while stomping.

"Seriously though... most people are just too uptight. You've got style and guts. Don't let anyone tell you different. And if you want a sparring partner or some pointers, or some new toys, I can see what I can rig up."

"You ain't kidding," Hit Girl said, grinning. "Could also use some Zep and Ozzy. But Jett, definitely."

"Trust me, you don't have to tell me how uptight people are. People got on my case about the swearing, they get all scared just because I'm not afraid to cut off some limbs or important body parts. I mean come on, I don't have super powers and shit like that. How do they think we stop bad guys in my world, thinking happy thoughts?"

And she danced on, knocking a few tables out of her way.

He kicks a table aside, making some more room, headbanging away.

"Niiice. You know your classics too. And, you know, when people get on your case, fuck it. We're not up here to be role models. We're here to kick ass and save the universe, and that's not gonna get done being all G-Rated, right? They can do the care bear stare thing all they want - sometimes you just gotta take a sniper rifle to the problem."

Hit Girl did the same, this time trying to imagine something heavier, like death metal.

"Yeah well, I had a dad that made sure I knew what good music was all about. And yeah, I'm not gonna sweat being a good role model or playing by the rules. I got better things to think about. And in case you were serious about the training, I'll be looking for you."

Oops, looks like she just went through a table...no, wait, she's bad ass so its fine.

He doesn't even seem worried when she goes through the table. Bumps and bruises are part of the life - and part of good dancing. He thrashes away in turn, equally hard on the furniture, anything not already knocked out of the way taking a beating, between the two of them.

And Hit Girl pretty much believed in the same thing: hence why she got herself up, brushing away some of the debris and ignoring the scratches on her arm.

"I don't have any loser training me either," she said,, jumping up and down. "Like I said: a demon Overlord and a viking."

Ruff blinked again and smirked, "Come on even we have tea back home. Yeah I'll have some." She didn't particularly care for tea, mostly it was bitter and you drank it when you were sick. But maybe Mindy made a different kind.

She took a look at the tea bag, reading which tea she'd selected.

"Sorry, I just wanted to explain it in case you don't have it in your world. So let me go and pour you a cup, ok?"

"Leaves are in the bag, Ruff," Hit Girl said, pouring them each a cup. "I think this one should be ok. You drink first, ok?"

Ruff didn't need telling twice. She even drank a little too fast so it was still too hot for normal people and purred at the pain.

"Not bad." She remarked, though her voice was a little higher.

Hit Girl, following suit, took a long drink, then put it down.

"Well, that was pretty good," she said. Her voice sounded strange though, almost more sultry or something. Well that was weird.

And so was her clothes. What the hell, she seemed somehow longer.

Which became all the more pronouced to Ruffnut who was shrinking rapidly.

"What the...what did you do?!" Her voice cracked and got higher as she went reverse through puberty and her clothes pooled around her. Her helmet became so big on her elementary aged head it fell down over her eyes.

"What did I do? I didn't do anything...well, but grow!" And here she was, head in a ponytail, suit...MUCH tighter, and, hello, boobs now. Only B's, which was just typical, but she was much more interested in what was happening to Ruffnut.

She picked up a younger Ruffnut, making sure the clothes were still around her. "You all right?"

Ruff instinctively clung to Mindy as she was scooped up. "By Odin's beard look at me!" She flailed an arm in anger, "I'm...I'm...TINY!!!"

Tiny and furious it seemed. Her hair was shorter and even cleaner, her muscles gone, the helmet fell off with a clatter and she realized how much farther away the ground was now.
