Reviving a meme for great justice! Quoted from the original post:

It's Transmigration 9 Studios. No, the name doesn't make any sense, except that the owner, Stacy, has owned eight studios before this and they've all crashed and burned. Which feels so great for the actors and their sense of job security, let me tell you.

As soon as they're done with their scenes, the characters stop playing their roles and make it real. The scripts are tossed aside, and they can relax now that the cameras are off of them.

What does this mean? Well, perhaps Billy is an actual college graduate, who is disgusted with the scientific inaccuracies and techspeak mumbo-jumbo of his character. Perhaps Kang is a fit Japanese man in a rubber dragon suit. Maybe Renne is a former theater actor that speaks with a posh English accent? Who knows, perhaps Nehaa is a conservative Catholic who finds her role as a stripperiffic space goat horrifying! And it might an ongoing joke off-screen that Leon can't fight for shit, Steve's actor stands in for him during action scenes.

"Are you okay?"

Sasami, well... she had a major change of heart. A real big one. After the whole Darksoul arc, she came to learn that her castmates kinda did hate her. She felt horrible over it and wanted to change.

The KAIN arc (coupled with meeting and befriending Reimi) was just that - she had mellowed out considerably and was actually getting better roles here and there.

"Just tired," groaned Reimi, looking up at Sasami with a little grin. No matter how much of a brat she had been, the girl was good at what they did, and a long running series like this was bound to make a few friends.

"I'm feeling my ten years of stunt double-ness kiddo."

"You should relax, then." Sasami said, moving to join Reimi. You could probably say that it was Reimi, both on and off the set, that calmed her earlier brattiness. "You push yourself too much, then you'll end up getting really hurt!"

"Yeah, wouldn't want to end up like some of my friends." She sighed. "Matt's on set by the way. You may want to see him. It's the fate that befalls all stunt people."

Matt was a stuntman who broke into the business with WITCH, and he was notorious for doing his own stunts all the time. Reimi groaned and kicked her shoes off.

"Alright..." Sasami said, nodding. She heard about what happened to him and felt bad for what had happened. She did make a note to go visit him.

A few months ago, Sasami would have scoffed at the idea of feeling sorry for some of these people. Her ego wouldn't let her be that way. Now? Just like her on-screen counterpart, she reached over and hugged the older woman in reassurance.

Reimi smiled and hugged her close. The pair had really worked together well and Reimi was a softening blow to Sasami's pride. At least she was friendlier now.

"So how did your day go? I was busy filming fight stuff."

"Exhausting." Sasami admitted. "They've been wanting me to be a bit more action oriented, so they got me training for fights. Especially with the next big arc coming up."

She let out an exhausted sigh. "I can't figure out how you can wear that armor all the time. It looks light, but with all of that combined, well..."

"Oh this is nothing. It's actually lighter than some of the shocktrooper stuff I had to wear in Star Ocean 3," chuckled Reimi. "C'mere kiddo, lean against me."

With a nod, Sasami moved over and leaned against Reimi, relaxing. "I guess it has to do with all the gear they added on. Really, it's like they grabbed a bunch of leftover outfits and threw it together!"

"If you think that suit's bad, you should see some of the Rider suits," laughed Reimi, throwing her arm around Sasami and leaning against her.

"I've seen that Nazca suit. It's surprising how one can move in that, more or less not drown in it!" Sasami said, nuzzling up close to Reimi.

"Suit actors are really good, since it requires a lot of strength to pull it off."

She stroked a hand through Sasami's hair. "I guess it becomes natural after a while."

"I hope so, Reimi..." Sasami said, refraining from calling her "neesan", despite how close they were on and off the camera. A soft sigh left her lips as her hair was stroked.

Smiling, Reimi let the younger girl lean against her. "I um... asked Tsunami out. But she was wondering if you wanted to come along since we were going to a amusement park in our downtime."

"Y-You did? A-And she did? Really?" Sasami said, surprised. She was surprised Tsunami had even went that far. Then again, it was her suggestion to change Sasami's role that helped got her to where she was.

"That... that would be great!" she said, smiling. "I'd love to!"

"That's great! I'm really nervous about this to be honest," admitted Reimi. "I mean, she's just so nice and pretty..."

"...I didn't know you felt that way, Reimi." A voice called out.

Joining the duo was a woman looking like an older Sasami - Tsunami herself.

Reimi blushed as she brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "Hey Tsu... how long were you standing there?"

She was a little red, looking at the graceful actress.

"Just when you were talking about me. I guess I have great timing, hm?" Tsunami said. She noticed the blushing on Reimi's face and chuckled.

"Don't be embarrassed, Reimi. It's not everyday someone actually admits something like that to me. I should be the one blushing."

If anything it made Reimi blush harder as she smiled shyly. "Care to join me and Sasami then?"

"Gladly..." Tsunami said, moving to join the two on the couch, though making sure to give Reimi her distance. Despite all this, she sees how nervous she is over it all.

Clearing her throat, Reimi smiled at her as she squeezed Sasami's shoulder for assurance. "Tsu, I've... always liked you. I mean, I know we've only worked together for about a half a year now but I always loved your poise and grace... somewhere along the line... I wanted to be with you."

Tsunami can't help but blink at what she just heard. Now it was her turn to blush and smile shyly.

"Reimi, I..." she stammered, obviously caught off guard. "...that's sweet to hear. It really is. Admittedly, I'd figured someone like you would be more taken with Aqua than I, but..."

She reached over and took Reimi's hand.

"...I'd be honored to be with you."

Reimi blushed at that, and squeezed her hand back. "Aqua's more of a sister to me anyhow. Like Sasami is, right?"

"Yes, yes, she is." Tsunami replied. "Did you tell Sasami about coming along with us?"
