A Visit from the Magical Snow Fairy
This comm has been quiet for TOO LONG.
The ship is now full of snow. Seriously. It's in the hallways. It's in your bedroom. It's all over the mess hall, the sensoriums, and of course the city. How did it get here? WHO KNOWS! It's just everywhere snow should be and then a whole lot more.
NOW DEAL WITH IT!
(Meme is, as usual, open to literally anybody. Ever.)

She is bouncing along the street of the city, leaping in snowdrifts and flopping around on her back in the least dignified manner possible.
Clearly, she is having the time of her life.

No, no ordinary wolf. What were those markings? The flame? Bella had originally walked with confidence but no threat, but as she realized this she broke stride and ducked her head somewhat, wary.
"Are you a spirit?"
no subject
Well, animals did tend to recognize her as different, more often then not -- so it wasn't that unusual. Still, Bella was the first who had remarked upon them here. Ammy pricked her ears forward, inclining her head slightly to the side.
Not a spirit. But close.

"No?" She tilted her head, ducking back a little. She communicated as much with the muffled whrrring noise as she did with the motion, like she would have with another of her kind. "You are strange to me. I am-" she hesitated. What name to use? She hadn't gone by her wolfname in seasons.
Wyrm take it.
"-Stands-With-Teeth-Bared."

...unfortunately, her bark did not seem to translate into any sort of easily understandable language. And without Issun here to act as an interpreter, well... looked like she was pretty much out of luck in the name department.
But at least she knew Bella's name! She bolted off across the snow, feeling the cold on her paws and in her lungs.

The abruptness of the stranger's departure startled Bella. She still didn't understand!
The wolf hesitated, her uncertainty giving her a second's caution, before she ripped through that and bounded after Amaterasu.

She hit a makeshift ramp formed by the ruins of a partially-collapsed building, then used it as a jumping-off point to land on a nearby roof, where she skidded to a stop.

She couldn't make that jump. Not at this size, anyway.
Bella paused, reaching within her own mind for the appropriate burst of Rage. Channeling the primal fury, she shifted up to the larger hispo shape, a dire wolf the size of a very small car. It would give her the muscle to make the leap.
She lunged forward, claws digging into the icy building, then threw herself across the gap.
Bella looked at Amaterasu, still questioning. Who? What? Why are you here?

She sat back on her haunches, tail wagging, looking back to Bella as though awaiting her reaction.

"This is a gift of Luna?" She was scrambling to try to fit this evidence into her cosmology. "You are not a spirit, but you are not Garou either. How can you do this?"
no subject
She did, however, make a single flower sprout into being in the snow before Bella's front paws. Poing!

"Dog!" she barked, tail rising stiffly as she adopted a posture of canine authority. She would see how it responded.

Damn it Courier, why did you replace his brain with the drug-soaked Fiends' dog brain, now he's hallucinating crap.
