Nanoha DOES in fact like Captain Kirk - she sees him as friendly, reliable, someone who's receptive to her ideas, and a good leader whom she can trust, who she knows has the best interests of the crew at mind.

She knows the answer anyway, but Fate wants to hear how much Nanoha loves her again.

Nanoha is a very friendly person, with many people in this world who are incredibly dear to her: Vita, Hayate, Subaru, her family back on Earth, all of Riot 6, etc.

All of them pale in comparison to how central Fate is to her life - Fate is Nanoha's world. She's her best friend and partner; someone whom she can trust implicitly, someone who she knows she can trust with her life. Nanoha admires Fate's strength as a person and her loyalty. She doesn't always agree with the other girl's softer stance on things, but it doesn't bother her, either.

And, of course, she's tremendously in love with her - Fate is Nanoha's soulmate, and she harbors no doubts about this. She loves being with the girl (in multiple ways >_>), finds her incredibly beautiful, and adores just spending time with her. And teasing her. That part is fun too.

Nanoha likes Vega well enough, but there's a bit of motherly concern there. She enjoys his enthusiasm for things, and likes that he has something he likes to do, but wonders if he might not know how to do anything *else,* or if his life just far hasn't shown him that there's more to the world than fighting with giant robots.

Nanoha is certainly glad to have Roxie around - she thinks the girl is intelligent and that her brand of magic is incredibly useful, particularly given what they're facing.

She's a bit less positive on what seems to be a bit more ambiguous morality on the girl's part. Nanoha's certainly a Combat Pragmatist in all senses of the word, and isn't above fighting dirty, but she's got a strange gut sense that Roxie might be a bit too ruthless in her methods - and while she hasn't seen it yet, it bothers her. Overall, though, she does like the girl.

Vivio is the other part of Nanoha's world. She adores the girl and loves her tremendously, and while she DOES want to see Vivio stand on her own and become independent, anyone who tries to mess with her daughter will quickly wish that they hadn't ever fucking thought of it.

On the ship, Nanoha feels a bit guilty for missing four years of Vivio's life, and is impressed by how much she's grown up in those four years - a far cry from the crybaby she used to be. She knows that that Vivio's become more independent than she used to be... but still, it's hard to completely get used to the sudden (for her) change. And heaven help anyone who hurts her.

Nanoha does quite like the Doctor. Not only did they get along (Fire Forged Friendship, anyone?) when trapped within GLaDOS, and learn to work together like that, but she finds him a very kind - if slightly odd - man who she's able to look up to in a number of ways. Sometimes it bugs her that he treats her like a child, but then she reasons that to him, she probably does still look like one.

He's one of her best friends on the ship.

Nanoha finds Yuri to be cute, likable, and a very kind-hearted young girl whom she's become very protective of. She wants to try and help Yuri get more confidence in herself and to help her stop being so scared, but recognizes that it doesn't come overnight.

If anyone hurts her, prepare for some literally Divine wrath on Nanoha's part.

Nanoha really enjoys Kaylee's company as someone who's friendly, cheerful, and upbeat. It's a pleasure to be around her and she'd like to do it more (when she's not working on ways to keep the whole ship safe, of course).

On a professional level, Nanoha likes Leon for being someone responsible and intelligent, who she can trust, and who who's supportive of her aims. They haven't spoken much outside of their relationship as crew, but she'd probably still like him there, too, especially if she learns of him being fatherly to Sherry. Parental stuff is a quick way to worm your way into Nanoha's good side.
