Alessa had no real anchor TO life: it began as abruptly as it ended in her opinion, and anyone who thought differently was a fool. That said, when Renne piqued her interest many years ago, Alessa had took to learning more about the interesting creature, and when marriage was proposed, Alessa could think of no reason to say no. Renne was tolerant of her nature, and in turn Alessa was actually protective of Renne when anyone dared try to injure Renne.

They could be seen many a night curled up with each other in bed, even though Alessa actually never slept.

He's not one to take things for granted and the fact he's...well...Bonded, has a Bondmate, still often floors him. Such as days like this and so, he's quietly crawling out of bed to go have a kitchen adventure.

As the only person on the ship whose shadows would not attack him, was it all that surprising that Alex had grown close to Renne? He seemed to have no issues understanding the little blue creature, and with the way they were able to sense each others emotions they quickly became very close.

Currently, Alex was curlled up next to Renne, sleeping peacefully. It had taken him a while to not be constantly awoken by nightmares, but with Renne's help he'd been sleeping well.

He yawned and rubbed his eyes, looking over to Renne, "'Mornin', dear."
