WELL...pre-Darksoul, Katara was pretty much just a random girl to Marco. He wasn't particularly concerned about her, and she was basically just another person to tease.

Post-Darksoul? Yeah, he's not really thinking nice things about her. She didn't just try and stop his mother - she did it in a way that could have done serious, permanent damage. He does know that she was doing it to help, but he thinks she was incredibly reckless about it.

He's also possibly projecting onto her a bit of his own internal guilt over the fact that he wasn't able to keep Eva safe.

Even Katara is pretty mystified about the Overlord. It went from just observing a crazed jabbering book to a person who's impressions and thoughts she cares about. Because of who the Overlord is, she won't admit that what he says does matter (even as a lecher) but she actually does care about him

And though she'll never admit it, she will be trying to find a way to not make him a book.

Clock buddy! Kaylee's a new friend for Daja, but she definitely likes her, and she very much respects Kaylee's skill. She's still in the "get to know" stage, but later down the track Kaylee might end up becoming a good friend.

Here goes, I guess.

Sometimes you annoy the hell out of me Conner-- but it's fun, anyway. You-- we do stupid stuff sometimes, and maybe sometimes the fact that you're enjoying yourself really helps me. You're like an annoying little brother that way. And I wouldn't change that. And then... yeah, I guess you can be the older brother sometimes, too. You're there for me when I need it. Even if I don't want to talk about it. You're my best friend, Conner.

I know it was hard to even take you seriously sometimes, when we first met, but... yeah, you really proved me wrong. You smartened up, and you grew up. If anyone ever questions that...

I know I did some pretty stupid stuff, after you died. I made some big mistakes and I let you down. I couldn't-- after Steph, and my dad... you really helped me with them, and then you were gone. Maybe I snapped a little, after all of that. I'm getting out of that stupid, dark place, though. You coming back really helped that.

I kind of admire the fact that so much of this comes so easy to you-- you're a natural. And it's not like it's never hard for you-- I know that it's hard for all of us. But you still manage to keep going. Better than I have. And you're good at keeping it all straight in your head.

Sometimes you... make me better Conner. And I'll never forget that. And like hell am I ever, ever going to lose you again.

Over all, Tim's pretty curious about her. She seemed like a sweet girl, though, and he's interested in getting to know her more. And learning more about her and her world. He doesn't mean to be a jerk about it, but. :|a

Hey not-dad.

Hiccup does see him as another father figure, kinda like Gobber, but out of respect for his own dad, yada yada, you know the drill. He admires him. In many ways he wants to be like him, strong and capable and composed and confident.

He does not, however, truly understand the extent of the neutrality of Kang's morality sometimes, that he's so deeply in the shades of gray. He thinks someone as loyal as Kang is has to be pretty decent, but there'd likely be a lot of moral issues they disagree on.

He'd still care about him anyway, if he knew all Kang did and helped do in the past, and would forgive him, but he wouldn't forgive any of those dark and muddled things he'd still think were right to do in the present. Now that Hiccup is growing up, getting more confident, standing up for himself more, standing up for others more and for what he feels is right, I think they might wind up clashing eventually, and it'll be all the more painful and difficult because of the very genuine fondness and even almost-familial love the characters have for each other.

Trusts him even less, but he's really, really trying to not let it color his opinions of every demon ever.

It'd really help with his prejudices though, if bug-aliens stopped being entirely horribly evil and willing to tear out of his stomach, and if demons and things stopped, y'know, possessing him or what have you.

Rachel's not so sure how much she can trust Kang still, but a part of her is warming up to him a little (not trust, but), now that they've been working together some. Because he's pretty darn badass, and she can respect him some, too. Plus, he can appreciate giving Marco hell!

... and she may or may not want to totally morph him one day.

Well, to be fair she probably still would have gone to help if she had known. She just might not have shown as much compassion as she did, and would have been a bit more distant instead.

Since Hiccup is pretty much the only friend Zuko has ever made on his own, he appreciates Astrid for being that way. It's good to know his bro's significant other will look out for him and ENFORCE that looking-out-for, since that derp can probably find a million-ass ways to get himself killed on this stupid ship. =|

Frowny faces sort of exert their own gravitational pull, and Kon is like sucked in by it, and cannot help but poke and prod at srs people to try to get them to lighten up.

He doesn't know Zuko's story, he wonders about the scar, he thinks there's probably damn good reason he is the way he is, but he still likes to see people happy and at ease, so he probably will never stop trying to make Zuko laugh, even with not knowing him very well. If he ever gets to know him better along the way: bonus.
