A friend who is also a girl! Lash rarely has any of those, the last one which was more of a rival named Sonja back at home. So please forgive her as Lash treats her more like a guy than a girl because she is unsure what girls do being friends that isn't blowing shit up and stuff. Talking about guys? WHAT THE FU-

But seriously, she would defend Kate and is glad to fight alongside her or...sigh...have to be rescued by her. She'd protest all the way, mind you. No one should be saving a wunderkind genius like her, and most certainly not the girl in the pink suit. Because you see...

Top secret but shhh secretly Lash is glad that Kate got the pink suit because she does not like Pink at all. NOT LASH enough. Then again neither is yellow, but it is better than pink. KEEP THE PINK AWAY AHH.

SHE STILL REMEMBERS THE GOOD TIMES IN THAT VAN.

Kira is intereating in that HOLY CRAP HE PILOTS GIANT ROBOTS HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME AND THEY SHOOT WEAPONS AND LASERS which gives him a Lash street cred of plus a hundred. And he's competent with it which is another plus in her books. How many soldiers did she see that ended up being terrible pilots in the field of battle?

She thinks of him as a good ally and a friend (but she will never tell him about the friendship thing, it would make her soft and all) and is more than willing to fight alongside him in battles.

Sam's still working out how he feels about Eva. He thinks she's an intelligent woman and thinks they could have some decent conversations, but they're not likely to ever end up good friends. That she cares about Tom is a plus in her favor, honestly, but Sam...doesn't do so well with mother-type figures.

Schmuz? Is never, ever coming out around her. Sure, she's not still a Visser, but that's no reason to take chances. Especially since he's picked up that she's not fond of him, either. So, basically, he tries not to piss off people who could get him killed. It's a good skill to have.

Kang sort of reminds Sam of Bobby. The person, not the dog. He has that same sort of 'no nonsense' air about him and he may, some day, try to get Kang to call his brother an 'idjit'. Just to see Dean's reaction. He's also really glad to have someone else on his side when it comes to Dean's martyr complex. (Sam's smart enough not to show his in public.)

Schmuz doesn't know Kang well, but Sam's good opinion of him helps. Along with the fact that Kang didn't vote to have him killed out of hand. (Okay, none of the Council did, but Kang's the one that Sam knows.) Other than that, he's still getting used to the idea of Draconians. And very, very glad that Shiva didn't try to get Kang as a host for him.

Sam's reply is along the lines of: Jerk. (And we all know what that is code for.)

Schmuz is wary as hell of Dean. He goes out of his way to just...be eminently forgettable while Sam is around Dean and won't talk if he can avoid it. Because Dean is the one person who could talk Sam into getting rid of Schmuz. And while he wouldn't object strenuously to going back into stasis, he's not positive that Dean doesn't see him as enough of a threat to not want him dead. But, given everything, Schmuz is pretty damned paranoid to begin with.

Yes, Jamie has absolutely no clue about the crush, because he is an idiot. XD And too funny that they're both the 'not going to speak up and say anything' type, because he really wouldn't realize that she does unless something happened where they got thrown together and the subject came up.

...Although it'd be kinda funny if something like that happened where it did.

Marco is totally that annoying little cousin that Sam never had. And is grateful for never having experienced, I think. He doesn't know Marco well and he'd...rather not have to talk to him too much until after Schmuz has his own body. It's not that he doesn't appreciate that Marco knows more about Yeerks and all. He just doesn't like the implication that he 1) is dumb and 2) didn't actually think any of this out before hand. He can, at least, understand that they don't accept that it's Sam in control all the time.

Schmuz is right with Sam about never talking to Marco, though. I think a lot of that, though, stems from being laughed at. He still has some pride, damn it.

Sam likes Tom. I'm pretty sure that's obvious, though. He doesn't exactly hold that back. In a lot of ways, Tom is like the little brother that Sam never had (or, at least, never knew about--thanks, Dad) and Sam's trying to do right by him. It helps that Sam knows a lot of what Tom is going through and is trying to help in the best way he can. And he's going to feel bad when Tom takes Iniss back, but there's no way he can just tell Tom how to live his life.

Iniss...honestly? Sam doesn't trust him. At all. He knows that Iniss has an 'enlightened self-interest' thing going and that keeping Tom alive and well is safety as much for him as for Tom, but...well, Iniss is kind of a jerk and Sam knows it. So while he appreciates what Iniss does, he just wouldn't trust him with anything more.

can I just say that Lash is the sweetest ever and I want to hug her?

Jono likes Kate. She's a good kid in a really hard situation. They've also both been on the ship since the beginning, so it's kind of a unique situation. He's also always glad to have someone around who knows music. And he absolutely sympathizes with her about the loss of a best friend.

They should probably still talk more often, though.

First off, I'll get back to that thread soon! Sorry about that.

Jono likes Jamie. This isn't something that happens often. Sure, he started out with a bit of hero worship-kind of thing because of who Jamie is and who he had been traveling with. But since then, he's really come to like Jamie as a person. Especially after Fairplay.

Also. Jamie likes cats. Can't be anything wrong with that.

Best at everything that is Blowing Things Up. Lash is fun and brings a terrific mix of personality and knowledge to the department, and she makes every day of work completely worth it just from her crazy-awesome antics.

Kaylee definitely loves Dean. She is the slightest bit dazed by how quickly things have moved along, especially with how long it took her to get Simon just to hug her, but she couldn't be happier with how things have progressed and developed between them <3

YOU FUN AND BRILLIANT MAN, YOU. Like I said, mind twins (with the exception that, you know, the Doctor knows a thousand times more than she ever will)...

Excitable twins, maybe. XD

Unfortunately they haven't met on the ship so I can't say. I'm sure they'd really get along.

He drives her crazy but she respects him for being all Animorphy and fighting yeerks.

Ffffffff I missed this. What.

Nanoha kind of confuses Rhiow - her magic doesn't work on any kind of physics Rhiow knows and it drives her nuts trying to figure it out, even after she's accepted that most people on the ship have magic that doesn't have to abide by physics. She's also a little jealous of what Nanoha has with Fate, because Rhiow knows she won't have the same thing. Overall she doesn't think Nanoha has a mean bone in her body and is glad to be in her department.

While the darksoul fiasco was a little shocking, Ruff hasn't lost any cool points with Astrid. Ever since Hiccup became a hero, she's known Ruff has taken a... crazy fondness in her boy. Who can resist that raw Vikingness, ya know?

Things will be less awkward once they talk again!

Ruff is...well deep down she has trouble admitting it but she is totally jealous of Astrid but at the same time she is Astrid's second biggest fan (Second to Hiccup of coarse, sorry Snotlout you're third place)

She sees Astrid as a kick ass girl she can identify with even if she doesn't think she'll ever reach her level of skill. While the truth of the matter is training with Zetta and Hit Girl has helped Ruffnut kick it up several notches her own lack of self esteem will always make her think Astrid is cooler, tougher, and better then her.

There's probably a few degrees of girlcrush in there too.

Oh and the worry that if Hiccup and Astrid have each other and with him being so smart and her being so skilled that they'll go off and be heroes and legends and she'll be left in the dust, one lone Viking girl surrounded by people and things she doesn't understand.

Speaking of talking again seeing as I keep missing you on AIM (Damn you nightshift!!!) You wanna set up a thread for them to catch up? If not I've got a thread already that was set after the mission you could crash.
