That is a very large dragon.

At least, from Rhiow's perspective, he's very large. Her fur puffs up a little involuntarily and she watches it for a second before saying, "Are you looking for something?"

She speaks the Speech - Toothless should understand her, but more importantly, she should understand Toothless.
