The CR (Character Relationships) Meme

It's been a while since we've really done a meme with a purpose, and longer since we've done a CR meme - and now that we have a bunch of fresh new characters, time to find out what everyone thinks of you!

There's nothing fancy here - no fancy HTML - just pure bare-bones simplicity:

Sherry and Miku on Nanoha?

Miku on Michael?

Nanoha on Miku: Nanoha really likes Miku. She thinks the girl is very sweet, enjoys having someone whom she can relate to because they're both Japanese, and loves cooking together with her. She thinks that Miku is a bit timid and introverted sometimes - which makes sense given her upbringing whereas Nanoha left Japan to become an intergalactic enforcer - and tries to help bring her out of her shell, but she really does like spending time with the other girl. Oh, and she also feels somewhat protective of Miku thanks to how they met with Miku's curse - Miku is someone she wants to watch out for and use her power to keep safe.

Nanoha on Sherry: She hasn't spent enough time with Sherry to really judge, but she likes Leon a whole bunch and really would like to get Vivio more friends her age. She thinks Sherry could use some encouragement to be a bit more outgoing and friendly, which is why she encourages Vivio to spend more time with all the rest of the kids.

Michael on Miku: He only just met her, and she's not really his type, but he thinks she's cute. Cute, shy, and fun to tease - so he'll continue flirting with her, but he doesn't really mean anything by it.

Nanoha is Fate's best friend, loving girlfriend, and one of the most important things in her life. Fate's love for her really can't be put into words, so she just lets her emotions show through her actions; even when they're not being lovey-dovey, it's easy to see the affection Fate has for the other girl.

Fate's a little scared because, after the mess with the Nightmare King, she realizes that she's more than a little dependent on Nanoha. Sure, she can still function normally when they aren't together, and it's not like she can't do anything without going to the other girl first. But she saw that if Nanoha ever died, she would not be able to keep it together, and that really freaks her out. Jail's Hannibal Lecture was right about one thing: she's terrified of being alone, and what it will do to her.

So tied into that is her protectiveness, especially concerning her girlfriend. She knows she can be a little overbearing, she knows it can annoy Nanoha sometimes... but she really can't help it. She can't let anything happen to the people she cares about, and puts their personal safety above her own.

And Koishi really likes Nanoha! She'll probably start bothering her soon, to see if maybe they can have a friendly sparring match or to see if Nanoha's had any further luck cracking her antisocial hermit sister's shell.

Billy on Kira!

Katara on both!

He doesn't know her that well yet. He thinks she's talented and admires her enthusiasm and skill - she's someone that he's glad to have on his side - but on the other hand, he gets the feeling that she enjoys fighting and warfare a biiiiit too much for his tastes, since it's something that he finds pretty distasteful.

He likes her well enough, but he doesn't share her enthusiasm for combat.

Leon: He likes Nanoha, for some odd reason. On most people he'd find the cheerful, bubbly personality rather annoying, but he's warming up to her. She's like a breath of fresh air, especially among this crew, mixed with a burst of caffeine.

As a leader, he respects her, and generally wouldn't interfere too much with how she runs the Mystical Department. His understanding of magic is fairly limited, so he'll rely on and trust her judgment regarding that. The fact that her method of problem solving is "If that explosion didn't work, try a bigger one" is a definite plus.

Give her a bit more time, she'll probably slide into a precocious little sister kind of role.

Julian: He's getting over his disappointment that she's a lesbian (yeah, I know she's not, but in-game, he doesn't). Because if she wasn't, he'd so try to get into her pants. He'll probably hit on her occasionally anyway, just for the amusement factor. He likens hitting on a lesbian to running on a treadmill; its great exercise, but you're not actually going to get anywhere.

I'm interested to see how their future interactions play out. All of his relationships with women, save for one (his best friend, Cessily), tend to be horribly dysfunctional and degenerative, so he doesn't put a whole lot of effort into being liked (since it'll all go south anyway). That he has ways of getting under her skin is something he can't help but try to exploit.

That said, he doesn't have any malicious intent towards her, despite losing a fight to her. He still wants his rematch, and would probably like to fold sparring with her into a semi-regular part of his training.

Lex: Barely knows Nanoha, but she seems like a nice enough girl. None of which will stop him from tormenting Fate, but that's neither here nor there. At some point, he might have to pick her brain regarding magic in general, and he might ask to ~~dissect~~ take a look at Rising Heart ~~and then try to get a hold of it anyway if she says no~~. He's curious about magic, but she's a bit too high up on the food chain now for him to really mess with too much.

You, sir, are the GREATEST PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME! You go suit up and get them terrorists, let me grab my guns, and we'll mow down them puerto rican bastards FOR GREAT JUSTICE! And FREEDOM!

Then we'll go hang out and have a beer.

Uncle Snuffy misses his half-pint. He'd be proud to know she shoved a boy off the roof of a building, though. Little punk probably had it comin!

Leon, on the other hand, does not know what to do with you, Sherry. He loves Sherry, dearly, he really does. But he and Claire have a child that is just like them and he has no idea how to handle that. He wants her to explore and have friends and all of that, but he doesn't want her to get hurt ~~or make out a boy~~. He wants to rein in her recklessness some, without breaking her spirit. It'd a really hard balance.

Lex does not know you, Sherry. And as far as he knows, you're just a rather quiet kid. Not terribly interesting, so he has no reason to bother her one way or another.

Kira reminds Billy of himself in a lot of ways. He's really curious about their mecha and how they live.

He wishes he could find time to talk to Kira.

Billy sees Katara as one of his best sisters. He's extremely grateful that she doesn't give up on him even knowing that he'll never be anywhere close to as strong as her, and he wants to see her happy. She works hard to earn that happiness.

Starfire thinks Katara is a wonderful person to rally around. She clearly cares about the teenagers having a place to go, and Star is honored to call herself an Outsider.

She wishes to know more about Katara's world and train beside her.

Sup, Sweetheart.

I'm really not sure what he thinks of Fate, actually. On the one hand, he's like "Damn, she's a lesbian" so hitting on her would be pointless. On the other, he finds her interesting enough to poke at.

And that's probably what he'll keep doing for a while, just poking at her to get a reaction. Both to amuse himself, cause some of her reactions are so cute, and as a weird way of getting to know her.
