Good evening meatship, I bring you your Friday meme!

No More Secrets

1. All of your character's darkest and most embarrassing secrets, the ones that they have been holding back from the crew, are now common knowledge.

2. Since not everyone knows everyone's canon, comment with your character and a bulleted list of the things they have been holding back from the crew. These can be funny things (that time I ran around with my underwear outside my pants), embarrassing things (Little Black Book-type secrets) or the dark things they never wanted anyone to know.

3. Other characters react to these sudden revelations about your character. Will it change the way people feel about each other?

IMPORTANT: PLEASE POST WARNINGS IN THE SUBJECT LINE IF SOMETHING IN THE COMMENT IS TRIGGERY. This meme has the potential to be a lot more dramatic than our usual fare, and I want to make sure everyone is comfortable.

- Chris smokes, no matter how much he denies it to his sister and no matter how he pretends to have quit. He has a bit of an oral fixation and if there isn't a cigarette in his mouth, he tries to stave it off with candy instead. Hide your Jolly Ranchers.

- Chris got thrown out of the Air Force for arguing with a superior. And by "Arguing with" I mean "punching him in the mouth."

- He spent about a year and a half after that as a drifter with no idea what to do with himself. He barely kept in touch with his family and is ashamed of it to this day, since his parents would die in a car accident soon after.

- Chris blames himself for the deaths of all the other S.T.A.R.S. members and unfairly accepts blame for not noticing something was wrong with Wesker. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but in Chris' defense, the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. were also too retarded to notice the clearly evil man in charge of them.

- He is aware that Claire is having sex with Leon and the very idea makes him want to throw up for the rest of his life. He recognizes that Claire's a full grown woman and he has no room to butt into her life, but picturing his little sister like that is enough to make him twitchy.

- Chris himself has forgotten when the last time he had sex was. It was more than three years ago, and he couldn't tell you her name or the circumstances for a million dollars.

- She did not expect to be so shy in social situations here. But May's feeling a little overwhelmed, lately.

- Maydril absolutely idolizes a Paladin by the name of Sonya del Thunder. Sonya is responsible for leading the defeat of an Uthmuri, and basically creating the Paladin spell of Resurrection. Until then, it hadn't been done. To her, Sonya IS a hero. May wants to do equally amazing things.

- She kind of wants to make Nura proud of her. If that means NOT getting in trouble and NOT making Nura's migraines worse, she'll do it. Even if that means holing up in the Media Library and searching for books from her own world.

- This is probably less of a surprise, but she adores her ship family, probably as much as the real one. Still misses the real deal though.

- She misses her boyfriend Everry von Dalis, too, but she doesn't let on. Just hopes he's in the pods somewhere, and she'll see him someday.

- She started to write a book starring characters inspired by Sofia and Julian. She used real moments she witnessed with Sofia to write certain scenes, including certain things Sofia had said. She intentionally planned for the characters to go their separate ways at the end of the book.

- Had the biggest crush on Beastboy. And yes, she found his ears attractive.

- She still had that copy of Tristan & Isolde with her, and would mostly re-read the graphic sexual scenes. It was hidden under her pillow on her bed in her room at the Outsiders' HQ.

- After finding out that she one day died back home, she started to dabble in some dark poetry. There was a copy of Edgar Allen Poe's Collected Poems in her nightstand in her room at Outsiders' HQ.

- Still kind of carried a torch for Josh. But just a little one!

- Had nightmares of becoming like her father.

- While on Shore Leave, she bought a really tight-fitting dress that showed cleavage, and had a hemline that was a little short. It made her feel incredibly sexy and she thought one day she could maybe get up the confidence to wear it out in public.

- Still kind of carried the tiniest of tiniest torches for Kevin.

- Late at night, at Outsiders HQ, she'd sometimes practice dancing all by herself. She almost knocked over a couple pieces of furniture, and tripped onto the couch more than six times, but she started to feel really confident about her practice around Christmas time.

Somehow, after seeing Karkat, he's not all that surprised about Alteranian nature. Also, the bad dreams.

1) Every single time she meets a person, she wonders how they would taste if she ate them.
1A) Yes, this includes children.

2) She was raised in a violent, racist culture that taught her that aliens were only useful as food or slaves. She has eaten sentient meat all her life and only tapered off in the last few years.

3) Her fiancé was abducted when she was sixteen, and tortured for years. When she discovered at nineteen that her parents had arranged for the abduction, it drove her insane. She killed her entire family (including her four sisters) and destroyed the family home (with some hundreds of slaves inside).

4) She sold two of her ovaries to a slave broker, and the children cultured from those organs are still being sold and eaten. Because her family was of minor royal blood, this crime made her infamous. And that infamy made her rich off of slave royalties. She literally sold herself in every way but one.
4A) She still has a valid slave seller's license and auction floor pass.

Choline hates this meme. I, on the other hand, love it.

1. She has been hallucinating (?) and seeing her dead paladin boyfriend since arriving on the ship. She's used the Sensoriums to uh... be with him. At least once. She has no regrets and is starting to wonder if some part of him isn't lingering about.

2. If she weren't so hung up about said dead paladin boyfriend, she'd probably have mated with everything humanoid that wasn't a child. Twice over.

3. Prior to dead paladin boyfriend, she was engaged to a kaldorei man who beat on her. Given that night elves are matriarchal, nobody really believed her, and it was one of the big reasons she gave the night elves the double deuce and went to hang out with the humans.

4. War (and possibly the crazy nutbar ex-fiance) has rendered her entirely infertile. This bothers her a lot more than it ought to.

5. Used to go on chopper rides with Prophet Velen, leader of the draenei.

- Sometimes, Cagalli blames herself for things that she has no right blaming herself for. She gets down on herself, backpedals when called out on it, but never actually puts her particular fears out in the open. Specifically, she thinks she could've stopped Lord Djibril from escaping if she'd been less confrontational. Then, maybe no one would have had the nerve to fire Requiem.

She knows that over a million died because Djibril was a madman, but the thought lingers in the back of her mind.

- She wonders if accepting the role of Chief Representative at such a young age wasn't stupidly trying to live up to both her father and Lacus, instead of figuring out what she was good at. Not that she has any hard feelings about Lacus; it's because she admires her.

- Cagalli wants to be able to be a normal teenager with her friends, enjoying life and having free time, despite how impossible it is. She especially wishes it for her brother, but bringing it up would just lead to frustrating conversations with everyone.

- She knows she's a bit sexually repressed from her upbringing and having so much responsibility thrust onto her. She feels like it would be immature or inappropriate to make a big deal of it, while also wishing she had the nerve to be more forward with Athrun.

- She wonders if she should be as traumatized by war as the other three in their core group, and if it means something bad about her that it didn't leave her quite as scarred. Does it mean she's just not as good a person?

- Despite being back together with Athrun, she's had her first misgivings about their relationship, and it's something else she blames herself for more than anyone else.

- It annoys her that she cries and gets overly emotional at the drop of a hat, and doesn't talk about it because it would make her get overly emotional or even cry to do so.

- Claire sometimes wonders if she should've continued down the path she chose after Umbrella was brought down, or if she should have given up on trying to be normal and accepted one of the recommendations she got after returning from Rockfort to go back to school for law enforcement so she could apply to the secret service. She's never told her brother or Leon about this.

- She still feels cripplingly guilty sometimes about how Sherry was basically lost in the system.

- Sherry is not her real daughter. this is a secret she sometimes forgets is a lie.

- Leon is the longest relationship she's ever successfully maintained. Most guys made it about eight months before one of them decided the other was crazy and split.

- Speaking of Leon, Claire is, despite outwardly being fairly laid back about how attractive he is and how many other women find him attractive, possessive of him. She's known him for years and knows he wouldn't dare cheat on her, but there's still an irrational part of her that hates the idea of other women trying to get his attention.

- She's dead. Luis is the only person who knows this. He doesn't know that the means in which she died was beaten to death with the rifle of her fellow soldier, by a zombie that wrestled it from her grasp.

- She doesn't actually like people that much. But that's primarily because she finds it hard to trust them.

- She was married for five years, to her high school sweetheart. Their marriage came to an end after she returned from active duty and found out he was sleeping with the wife of one of her squadmates. This is a large reason why she tends to shut down most advances towards her, and is standoffish towards people in general.

- despite that, Luis IS starting to whittle down her defenses. She finds she cares a lot more about him than she pretend she does.

- Sometimes wonders what his place in life is considering him and all other humans were created to be bio-weapons by aliens.
- Once accidentally saw Mizuki naked. He liked it.
- Has a parasitic organism bonded to him that creates a bio-boosted armor called the Guyver when called upon. Doesn't want anyone to find out because he's afraid they'll be terrified of him, since he's literally a killing machine.
- Has died once. It was incredibly painful and extremely traumatic.
- Forced into killing his dad. Very traumatizing, but he got through it in order to save his friends.
- Is very lonely since being pod-popped and is quickly attaching himself to most of the people he interacts with.
- He thinks Asuka is cool and is not bothered at all by her arrogance.
