Katara is sad they don't get to spend as much time together as they used to: Jamie is always good to talk with, and she enjoys their vocal sparring. He's also someone that she trusts immensely, and knows will have her back.

And actually no, she's way too used to the kilt now. If he wore pants it would be disturbing to her.

Katara has definitely spread herself thin on the ship: she loves the GAang, but knows by now that they can handle themselves and have lives of their own. Some people don't and some people are just different friends she's met that she cares about too.

And yeah, she's gotten bad at that, even though she tells them with the best intentions in mind. She actually considers people like Alex and Eva brave after all they've been through and thinks others should too.

The Azula thing she's not telling anyone and wants to keep it that way. While she'll freely tell the Hama story, what happened with Azula's breakdown is far too dark, even for her.

She likes him and sees him as an intelligent and skilled leader, more than capable of handling himself in many situations and is more than happy to work with him as part of his intelligence network.

She would be interested in getting to know him more though.

In some ways, Zouichi is the older of the two, and in some ways, Howard is, having survived in his world without the benefits of training, special abilities, or experience. Zouichi find that he likes Howard, although he doesn't necessarily understand all the pop culture references. Also, something about Howard makes it easy to relax and skip the formalities. In fact, Howard is probably the person Zouichi is the most comfortable with speaking to right now, next to Fuyu; he wouldn't banter back and forth with anyone else on the ship.

He gets the distinct impression that what he hears from Howard isn't necessarily the whole truth. But regardless of what Albert says Howard's guilty of so far, Zouichi still intends to defend Howard should a life-threatening situation arise; it's generally more his duty to protect than to judge.

Jamie definitely made her flustered when he was asking her about B. But he also made be at ease when she was very anxious about the mission and the crowd. She thinks he's a very straightforward and kind person. Definitely wants to talk more with him and befriend him.

She's found her quite interesting thus far, her reaction in seeing her i.e. not immediately freaking out over the fact that she's a dragon did go in her favor. Celena would be interested in getting to know her more.

From their encounter, amusing would be one word that springs to mind for along with suspicious and hint of paranoid, then that could be chalked down to the fact that he seemed quite convinced that she might eat him. All that together and she's quite intrigued to get to know more about him.

I kinda feel like their relationship was defined by their first conversation, way back during the bridge plot when Katara was atoning for the whole Yeerk trial thing. If I recall correctly, Billy told her that a hero is someone who tries their best to help whenever they can.

They didn't become friends until months later, but sure enough: he had a hero on his side. It's rough sometimes, but he's incredibly grateful for the training. Even more for the companionship---and now, unconditional familial love. Billy's also grateful for her efforts in pushing him and Ronnie together, even if he complained along the way.

Her plight's still weighing on his mind.
