That's a big pile of fluff and fabric surrounding youngling!Kang, and he is currently adding to it, ripping up a stuffed giraffe. Some of the fluff has apparently gone flying up, and has gotten caught on the thumb portion of one of his wings and landed on top of his snout. Tail twitching, his head abruptly swivels to stare at someone nearby, and he pulls the giraffe closer possessively with a low growl.

Apparently, he hasn't learned to share yet.

"I don't want your stupid toy." Tal snaps, glaring back at the... dragon-thing. "You broke it anyway."

He is twelve and too cool for this shit, okay?

"Mine," Kang hisses, ripping into it again. He will fight over his 'toy'. :|

"I don't want it. Also, you have stuffing on your nose." Tal points out smugly.

Kang eyes Tal for a moment, then shakes his head to get the fluff off. "Human have food?"

Tal fished in a pocket momentarily before finding a rather crumpled chocolate bar. "Here." he says, tossing Kang the candy. He was actually almost kind of cute for a lizard-y dragon thing... and he'd kill the first person who found out.

Kang's eyes light up and he snatches the bar in midair, wings flaring slightly in excitement. Food that's just for him! It takes him a moment to figure out how to open it, and once he does, he sniffs it experimentally, snout wrinkling. One bite, and he hisses, spitting it out. "Not food."

Tal glares at the chocolate bar sitting on the ground, a large chunk missing, then back at Kang. "Is too food. It's chocolate."

"Meat is food. Not that," Kang states bluntly, as if Tal should know this. Blinking, he finally notices the fluff on his wing and pulls it off, letting it fall to join the rest of the carnage around him.

A little Kaylee toddles up to Kang, bucket of plastic tools in hand, and observes the giraffe carefully. Part of her is wondering why he's not sad that it's broken...

"You're breakin' it on purpose!?"

...wait. This human smells different than the others, and it's shorter. Maybe it smells different because it's young like him? Curious, Kang drops the shredded giraffe and approaches her, fluff still on his snout, and head tilted to one side slightly. "Breaking is bad?"

Does this mean no food tonight?

"It ain't good." She's never thought about it being bad before. They have to take some stuff apart to put others together, right? "Are you gonna fix it to make it better?"

"Fix? How to fix?" All Kang knows how to do is destroy; the bigger humans always praise him for it and sometimes give him extra food. His wings go up a bit, curiosity even more piqued.

"You don't know how'ta fix!?" Well, good thing you have a Pro Mechanic's daughter to show you how, Kang! "Here, see?" She pulls some tape out of her plastic tool box, and sets to work repairing the broken giraffe.

"Humans never teach me," Kang watches as she starts fixing it. "Humans like when I destroy. So I destroy. I get more food."

"Well, 'M human, so I'll teach you, okay?" And she shows him how to tape it all together. Something's not right here, though... "You get more food for hurtin' things?"

Kang nods, still watching, "Humans not give us enough food. Have to hurt and kill brothers to eat." Duh. You're human, you should know this, Kaylee.

A young gargoyle watches the draconian from his sturdily constructed pillow fort, eyeing the remains of the toy with suspicion. The destructive youngster better not get any ideas about moving from toys to the gargoyle's "castle."

Kang eyes the gargoyle warily, then goes back to his destruction. Don't think he still isn't paying attention to you, though, Goliath. This toy is his.

So. This is how it's going to be. Staring each other down in silence, apart from the shredding of stuffed animals . . . until the young gargoyle poses a philosophical question.

"If you keep destroying your things, soon you will have destroyed them all. What will you do then?"

HE'S WATCHING YOU, KANG. WAAAATCHING.

"Humans give more," Kang says simply, a low growl coming from chest. "Humans want me to destroy."

WATCHING YOU BACK. Oh look, more fluff going in the air.

Dry stare. Humans, the little gargoyle is convinced, are friends, but they can mislead, as is perhaps this case.

"What does your clan want?"

[governorkang]

Humans are food-givers, and are to be looked up to. Not quite friends. :|

"Clan?"

"Family. Brothers and sisters. Elders. Others of your kind."

Ring any bells?

Kang's snout wrinkles slightly as he takes a moment to think. Then, he snorts, "No sisters. Fight with brothers over food. Humans make us fight."
