THE CRACK RP MEME!

That's right folks, it's time to bust out all the ridiculous, silly, cracktastical shenanigans you know you've always wanted to play but your characters would never do on the ship.

Random characters you will never app are fine. Joke journals are fine too. It's pretty much a party in here! 8D

"I'm telling you. If you have a sniper rifle, you need to make at least one headshot eventually. The entire point of having a sniper rifle's so you can make shots like that. Why just keep using it as binoculars."

Tex pauses, peering down at Grif from where she's perched atop his helmet. "Besides, it'd prove you're better with it than Tucker."

"I like using it as binoculars," he replies. "I mean, what other binoculars do I have? I don't have super powered zoomy vision."

Because there totally aren't binoculars built into his helmet. Totally.

"And it's not like it's easy because heads are like... small. And they move a lot."

"It not being easy's what makes it worth bragging about. Nobody cares if you can do a chest shot with a sniper rifle. Hitting the head? That's brag worthy. And it makes it a lot more likely the guy'll stay down." Tex sounds fairly confident about all this.

"I've told you, I don't do things so I can brag about them. I do things so people will leave me alone and stop trying to make me do them," he says.

"...Or trying to kill me. That too," he adds after a moment's consideration.

"Nobody wants to mess with the guy whose hobby is shooting people in the head," she says with a shrug.

"Personal experience huh?" Grif replies. He tilts his head a little bit to one side. He knows she's up there.

Tex is clipped through a little at the head tilt, but doesn't move from her spot. "Well, not exactly. People don't mess with me because I know how tear a guy's skull out."

"I always thought that was just your excellent people skills," Grif muses in a perfectly reasonable tone.
He tilts his head a little bit more. He's seeing how far he can push her before she moves.

"Being able to scare the crap out of people counts as people skill," Tex says with a shrug. "It's not a nice one, but it's a skill."

She clips through again but holds her ground, peering back down at him with an amused headtilt.

"My mom always called it bad manners."

Tilt. C'mon Tex you have to give up sometime!

"But your mom was never a mercenary, right?"

Tex's only response to the continued tilting is to drop down onto her stomach, laying on top of his helmet. There. You wanted clipping? More clipping!

"You don't know that. She could've been. You don't know about my mom." Which he's glad about honestly. His family is embarrassing.

...Okay he can't stand it anymore. "How are you still up there?"

"I heard a little about her from Sister. It was...educational." She'll be nice and not go farther than that.

"It's not like I'm actually here; I'm just a hologram. I don't need to hold on to anything. So you can shake your head and I won't move."

"...Don't tell me, I don't want to know. And we'll see about that."

He flops over onto his back.

Which results in Tex apparently lying on thin air. "I told you. Hologram."

"Yeah but I made you look ridiculous. So I win. Ha ha."

"No you don't." With that, she blips out. Then blips in on his shoulder. "I win."
