[ Okay, so that's not exactly true, seeing as Stacy's a nice giant ship and has more than a few press regulators in her, but Kaylee's stubborn as hell when it comes to her job. ]

[Billy's hard at work here, having finally recovered from his illness, but he soon spots the signs of Kaylee trying to work through her illness. Well, it takes a workaholic to know one.]

Then something else is wrong. Are you feeling well?

[ She grimaces, and shoves her head back into the access panel so he can't see it. That's a no. ]

[He rests his hand on her shoulder blade---was that a shiver? He thinks so.]

It's all right, I'm bringing in some of the others to work on this panel. You can get some rest.

[Jamie's underneath one of the consoles, tightening up a wire that's started to come loose when he spots familiar legs.]

Kaylee! Oh, good, ye can take a look at...hey, are ye alright?

[ She's fine, yep. Totally didn't sneak out of the medbay or anything crazy like that. Even smiling, look at that. Just, you know...ignore the fact that she's sweating and looks a little pale. ]

[Oh, perfectly fine, really. Which is why Jamie is out from underneath the console now and looking at Kaylee with obvious concern.]

She sighs, though, and lets Jamie lead her to sit down. It doesn't mean she isn't still focused on that question of his. ]

Just a wee short. I think I found where, though. Ye look awfully pale, Kaylee. Ye shouldn't be here.

[And he might just be trying to check for fever, while he's at it.]

Ye didn't eat any of that jam the Doctor found, did ye?

[ Even the idea of jam has her stomach rolling. Definitely didn't have any jam.

There's a definite fever, if her shivering is any indication, and she leans into Jamie's hand a bit. Just get the check over with already, she wants to go back to work. ]

[It's probably not a Time Lord six or seventh sense, but the Doctor is still currently eyeing Kaylee warily. He might also be ready to jump in the opposite direction of any sick coming his way]

You're getting green, you know. [He's trying to find something to help with that. No Jelly Babies, toffees or even lemon drops. That's what having human pockets does. Makes you not ready for sick engineers who don't look very shiny right now.]

[ If she is, it's not slowing her down. Things need to get finished. Not gonna have a giant part blow out of the engine just because she was too sick to check up on things. ]

Well, green. A little purple. Faint purple. Maybe you should head over to the core pit right over here. Don't worry, it'll vaporize anything before it hits anything.

[The Doctor herds her over toward that pit with his hand on her back. It's a little ginger though. She could go off at any minute, he thinks]

Oh. That's what he's talking about. Her stomach rolls unpleasantly from the motion, and she barely makes it to the pit before breakfast-slop comes up for round two. Ai ya. ]

[And there it goes. Probably going to be burnt to a crisp once it reaches the energy core. When; it's quite a far way down there. The Doctor grins, pleased with himself. Even a little smug, too. What great timing!]
