THE CRACK RP MEME!

That's right folks, it's time to bust out all the ridiculous, silly, cracktastical shenanigans you know you've always wanted to play but your characters would never do on the ship.

Random characters you will never app are fine. Joke journals are fine too. It's pretty much a party in here! 8D

And there is a very excited Kaylee now standing next to Kang.

"Oh, look at the little guy!!"

"That is a very short name," Armaenis observes. He sits. It changes the angle of his neck craning to be a little more comfortable.

"What lives here? This is a very strange lair."

Oh hey what is that. Army's head snaps around to look up at Kaylee. "I know what you are! You're a human!"

STAAARING!

Kang's wings rustle again, and he looks down at Kaylee, his voice serious. "That is a bronze hatchling, Kaylee."

"Sure am! Name's Kaylee." A smile for the little guy, before she actually pays attention to Kang.

"The kind you were talkin' 'bout before?" Even so, she looks more giddy than scared.

Armaenis focuses more on Kaylee now.

"Do you know what lives here?" he asks. This is very serious business of course.

"Kaylee. It's a bronze. You do remember what I told you before, right?" Yeah. Uh. This is incredibly awkward.

"Well, lots of folks live here, from all kinds of places..."

She blinks at Kang, shakes her head. "...'Bout?"

Oh hey wait what this is interesting.

The adults are talking, but Armaenis is perfectly happy to continue forcing himself into the conversation with all his tiny might.

"Yes. I'm bronze. What's it mean?" His head snaps back to Kang again.

Kang doesn't look or smell like a bad thing... (Honestly he kind of smells like Army's parents...)

Kang crosses his arms over his chest, scales clicking, "It means that he and I are possibly brothers."

Kaylee blinks again. And again. And then grins.

"So this could be your little brother??" The mechanic is pleased with this idea. "Lookit that, a regular family right here!"

Army wrinkles up his little muzzle.

"He can't be my brother! He's not a dragon!" he points out. "And besides, I already have two sisters and I don't need more!"

They sit on him. They so, so do. Stupid sisters. They do not respect him.

"You don't understand," Kang snorts. "We do not get along with metallic dragons. They see us as perversions, and kill us off."

He pauses, and glances down at the wyrmling. "Armaenis, draconians were created from metallic dragon eggs. So yes, we might be related."

"But he seems to like you..."

Kaylee shrugs, and gives Kang a look she might have reserved for a 'Duh, Jayne' moment. "So start with this one, and make it so ya'll get alone." Easy as pie.

Back to the itty-bitty. "You got sisters, too!?"

"Yes. Two of them. They're awful," the dragonet sniffs to Kaylee. They don't listen to him and he gets no respect, what could be worse?!

And then to Kang, he makes a small snorting noise. "That's stupid. The only thing that comes out of dragon eggs is dragons. Everyone knows that!"

There are some stories he hasn't been told, to let him grow up happy for a bit before he starts finding out exactly what kinds of horrible things go on in the world around him.

...sisters. Sisters. Lady of the Abyss, he might have sisters.

"It's true. They were stolen by Takhisis and warped by magic. A good chunk of them got retrieved by the dragons, though."

"'M sure they ain't all as awful as they seem. Might be their only way of showin' ya they like ya."

Humans do similar things all the time. Why wouldn't dragons?

In the mean time, Hamel has managed to find the baby dragon. Not that he really liked Dragon Mazoku, but this one was small, gullible and probably stupid to boot.

So he was waving a nice big leg of lamb at him while whistling repeatedly. "Come here Boy! you want this!? You want it!? Come on! I bet your hungry, aren't you??"

He gave the baby dragon a nice smile while trying his best for his black cloak to hide the cage that was behind him.

What? The baby would make a good circus pet! He could be rich!

Armaenis looks over at this new human.

"What are you doing?" he asks, suspicious. Things do not offer him food unless they are Mom or Dad. This is how things work. It is LIFE.

"Attempting to kill your children is definitely a way of showing that they like you," Kang remarked sarcastically, growling.

"Hamel, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Despite being a dragon, that is possibly his sibling, and dammit, bozaks are very protective of friends and family. "Get away from him. Now."

A cage? And bait? Kaylee all but glares at Hamel.

"Don't even think 'bout it."

He stood up completely and shrugged, honestly trying to pull off like selling a baby sentient dragon was something rather innocuous.
He shrugged his shoulders at the two. "What? I was just giving him a new home!"

"I have a home. It's just not here," replies Armaenis calmly.

"Where did you get the food?"

...shit. "You might be here for a while. And don't trust the one with food."
