Suddenly.

You are naked.

All of you. Even you, over there, the already naked guy.

Except for one thing.

You all have fig leaves over your privates. They cannot be removed or destroyed. They are large enough to cover everything. (They might itch a little)

Oh, and even already naked people with no visible privates will have the leaves, either over their naughty bits' actual locations, or just where they should be.

[He looks up, and swallows, and tries not to stare. He...fails a little at this, but manages to make himself look somewhere else after a few seconds.]

[ S'alright if you do, Jamie, everybody in the room is staring at everybody. No use in being bothered by it. The important things are covered, and that's what counts, right? ]

[Bothered? He's not bothered. Distracted, maybe, judging by the little peeks he keeps sneaking at her.]

[ She's good at this distraction thing on a normal day. A day without clothes is just a gimme. ]

My vote? Just go with it. Sooner everybody's comfortable with it, the sooner we get our clothes back.

[ Or the leaves removed. Either would be fine with Kaylee. ]

[Clearly that hadn't occurred to him.]

[Well, fine. Jamie stops trying to sneak a peek and just goes for the appreciative look instead. Which may not be exactly what Kaylee had in mind.]

[He pretends to look annoyed for a moment, then breaks into that crooked grin of his.]

Well, it'd be good for battle, anyway. Can't ye see the whole lot of us, rising up out of the bushes and running towards the enemy with a fearsome yell?

Oh, can you imagine!? They'd all be so surprised by it we'd have to win!

[He can't help but chuckle. Laughter is contagious, after all.]

Aye, well, either that or they'd be busy laughing themselves senseless.

[ GRIN. ]

Either way, victory's ours. Unstoppable force, the people of the fig leaves.

[He laughs genuinely now, completely amused.]

Och, Kaylee. Have I told ye lately that I'm glad to have met ye?

[ SMUG. ]

Not lately, no...beginnin' to forget what it sounds like~

[Impulsively, he leans in and plants a kiss on her cheek, then pulls back and grins at her. So there.]

Feel the same way 'bout knowin' you, Jamie.

[ Best watch it, Jamie, she could get used to that, and then where would we be? Naked with fig leaves still, that's where. ]

[Hey, she wanted comfortable, he's trying to get there. Getting to kiss her on the cheek is a bonus. He has at least forgotten about it being itchy, which is a start.]

So when do ye think everyone else will be comfortable with these?

Hopefully soon. Might be fearin' the leaves just disappearin' instead of gettin' their clothes back. Ain't like we didn't just wake up naked, y'know? [ Oooh shipmates. ]

[Jamie -may- be thinking he can be a little bolder than normal and blame it on the leaves. After all, who knows what other mysterious properties they might have. ~~And it has nothing to do with the fact that the mun may have been only half-awake at the time, no sir.~~]

Aye, that's true. Don't mention that around Billy. He might go try and hide in some bushes or something.

I'll be sure not to. Already took the better part of twenty minutes to get him to calm down some with just the leaves...
